Program Information
Our Falcon Swim Club Team is comprised of Condition and Competitive groups.
- Eagles and Swim Fit are Conditioning. They are invited to our home block party meets, but do not compete in our Committee USA Swimming Meets
- Falcons, Blue Jays, Swifts and Sparrows are Competitive and participate in all qualified meets.
- Groups range in ages, proficiency and competition levels.
- We compete in the Southern California - Pacific Committee
- Registration with USA Swimming is required for all athletes.
Adult Swim Options
- We offer both swim training and recreational swim options for Adults.

NEW and RETURNING FAMILIES REGISTER HERE:

We have 3 categories of Spring Swim School.
- Learn-To-Swim School:
- Ages 5 and Over
- Select 4 x 30 minute classes
- Maximum of 3 athletes per instructor
- Class Goals
- Water Safety in and around the pool
- Flutter and Dolphin Kicking
- Freestyle and Backstroke Pull
- Jumping and Beginning to Dive
- Stroke Development
- Ages 6 & Over who are able to
- traverse 25 yards on their own
- float on their back unassisted
- can enter and exit the pool safely
- are able to follow verbal directions
- 4 x 1 hour+ classes
- 15 minutes of dryland conditioning (please wear athletic shoes)
- Stroke and kick development of all four competitive strokes
- Beginning Dives and Turns
- Ages 6 & Over who are able to
- Advanced Stroke Technique
- Ages 7 & Over who are able to
- swim 50 yards in all 4 competitive strokes or more
- knowledgeable in dives and turns
- 4 x 1 hour+ classes
- 15 minutes of dryland conditioning (please wear athletic shoes)
- Intermediate / Advanced stroke and kick development in all four competitive strokes
- Intermediate / Advanced dives and turns
- Ages 7 & Over who are able to
All Classes Include:
- Cap and Shirt included in first session fee.
- 20% discount for additional sessions
- 20% sibling discount
- USA Swimming Registration is Required. More information can be found here.
- Athletes are invited to participate in our team swim meet at Alemany on April 25th. ($15 fee)
CATHOLIC LEAGUE IS COMPLETE FOR 2025
Congratulations to our outstanding team for placing first in the small teams division!
9 of our 12 athletes won high point honors (placing 12th or higher in their age group.)
Congratulations to:
- Yoni Sadovsky, Cierra Roland and Drew Caliston for placing 1st in their age divisions
- Yoni Sadovsky, Abbi Silva, Samanthan De La Cruz and Brooke Bernal for placing 2nd in the 7/8 year old mixed 200 free relay.
Check back in June to register for the 2026 season.
The San Fernando Valley Catholic Swim League is comprised of Grade and Middle School Catholic Schools throughout the valley. Athletes must be ages 5 - 14 in order to participate as of September 1.
Please review the swim criteria for each group and register for the group that best fits your athlete. If they are unable to traverse 25 yards freestyle and backstroke safely, then we recommend swim lessons first.
Location: Bishop Alemany High School, Mission Hills
- Parent Orientation meeting: TBD (early August)
- Practices Begin August ____th and conclude after the last swim meet
- Practices:
- 4x a week. (Our system requires you to select four options, but you may come to any of the practices.)
- We look forward to your first practice and will help your athlete(s) to feel at home. If you have not had a try out first, we will assess your athlete. We may choose to move them to the most appropriate group and we may also recommend swim lessons, if we feel they are not yet ready for their group. We want them to be prepared for a fun and successful swim journey.
- 2025 Swim Meet Dates: 9/7, 9/28, 10/19, 11/2
- By registering for Catholic League you are committing to the team. Athletes must participate in at least 3 of the 4 meets, or they will be fined $60 per missed meet.
- $125 Registration Fee + 4 Monthly Payments of $200 per athlete Aug 5, Sept 5, Oct 5 & Nov 5
- 20% Sibling Discount
- Includes: All Meet Fees, Tshirt, Swim Cap & Goggles
- Additional Registration Requirements
- Participating families do not need to be St. Didacus students, but your family does need to join the St. Didacus Parish. There is no fee or obligation associated with this.
- All athletes must join USA Swimming for insurance purposes. Costs for this ranges from $7 - $90 depending on your financial situation and age of your children. Please click here for more details.
Summer League
- From May - September 30th (New Registration Closes July 31)
- Groups
- 14 and Over (Eagles)
- 10 - 13 (Red Jays)
- 5 - 9 (Penguins)
- Requirements
- Must be able to swim 25 yard freestyle and backstroke
- Includes entry into in our Summer Block Party Meets, Swim Cap and Tshirt
Dolphins - Open Water Swim
- This group meets seasonally for ocean and other open water swims, including competitions.
- Participants must be 11 years old.
- Able to swim 500 yards unassisted and without stopping
- Recommend a wet suit, bright colored cap and goggles
- Club athletes are invited to attend at no additional fee.
