Learn to Swim Group (30 minutes 4x a Week)

- The goal of the class is for the athlete to become water safe and learn beginning swim stroke development. More advanced stroke development can be taught if the athlete is ready.
Every day will build on the prior day, so it is recommended to attend all five sessions. Lessons teach basic positive swimming principals in order to help athletes become water safe, and learn to love the sport of swimming.
The goal of the classes are to teach:
- Water Safety in and around the pool
- Proper Breathing technique and comfort under water
- Flutter and Dolphin Kicking (front, side and back, stream line and body position)
- Freestyle and Backstroke pulls
- Jumping and beginning diving
What to Wear/Bring:
- Fitted Swim Suit (one piece for females)
- Swim Cap for hair past the ears (We have them for $10)
- Goggles (We have them for $15)
- Towel
- Flip Flops or Sandals
- Sunscreen

- Additional equipment is not required for athletes. Athletes should wear a fitted suit (one piece for girls).
- USA Swimming Membership is required, instructions for registering will be emailed to you after registration. The cost is $9 - $90 depending on your swim goals. If you are already a USA Swimming Member, please let us know.
- All athletes are welcome and encouraged to participate in our home swim meet on Saturday, April 25th to showcase what they have learned. The fee for this is $15
- Subsequent sessions and sibling discounts are available for a 20% discount
- If you decide to join the Falcons Swim Club after Spring Swim School our $260 annual family registration fee will be discounted by 50%
