Work smarter not harder.  Focus should always be on technique and mental resilience over hard physical work, although all can be done.  And above all, have fun.

Curl-Burke Swim Club (now NCAP), in  Maryland, where I trained with and competed against several Olympians. 

Competed at junior and senior nationals in high school.  Won a metro title. Captain and swimmer of the year. 

Swam under some of the great coaches in the world including (but not limited to) Mike Bottom, Dave Salo and Nort Thornton.  

5 time finalist at PAC 10s while at Cal.
